The Inventors Corner

Precision Tracking Systems has a special offer for the private individual only. This offer is not available to businesses, nor may it be used by any individual who will then use it for the benefit of a company he or she may be working for. But before we make the offer, PTS feels it is in your best interest to read the following first. Our offer will come at the end.

PTS is fed up with all the hype produced by these so called "Inventors Companies". We've been burned before and we know you have too. If you've sent away for one of those packets advertised by these companies, you know they come with blanket forms guaranteeing confidentiality with so much legalese even a lawyer has to take his time when reading them. The ones that are easy to read sound just too good to be true.....where's the catch?

A documentary was aired in July 1995 by three different programs (20/20, Hard Copy, and 60 Minutes) about Invention companies and what to look out for. Each program ran their commentaries differently, but they all covered the same basic material. They concluded with this....(paraphrased)... Of all the companies profiled, 95% turned out to be scams and the 5% that were honest didn't have a real good track record. The most interesting feature they all covered was about the single most successful invention company in the world (who shall remain nameless as I don't want the same lawsuit they filed against the three network programs).

This company located in the North Eastern United States has the best track record of any Inventors company around. In their 18 years in business they've had a whopping total of 13 successful products! Now consider this: 18 years with 13 products. Over 200 employees where the average salary is $45,000/yr. with the execs making over $150,000 annually. Building overhead comes to somewhere in the $25,000 per MONTH range for their 14 story smoked glass and brass building. Where does all the money come from? Answer: it comes from the thousands of individuals who dutifully send in their $2500 to $5000 start up fee when told that they're sitting on a gold mine, and then once paid, get dumped because the company decides your idea won't actually sell. They keep the money explaining that it was spent for research on your behalf and aren't you glad that that's all you lost instead of trying to do it on your own and possibly losing more!!!??? Gee, fellas, what great guys you are. How about that bridge you offered me....is it still for sale?

Here's the Deal

Everything about PTS is geared for the industry. We have no walk in business and we service only the Electronics Industry. In other words, all of our customers are other electronics companies, not John Q. Public. That's why this offer is so special, it is only for private individuals...no businesses allowed.

PTS would like to help you explore the possibilities of your ideas. Some of them might be great, some of them might not. Either way we'll tell you exactly what we feel your chances are. What will this cost? Nothing up front. If you have an idea that we think will fly, we'll help you develop it and market it for a piece of the pie after costs. That's it. If you don't make anything, we don't either. We take all the risks. Sound too good to be true? Here are the catches:

  1. Before you tell us anything at all about your idea, we will send you our Confidentiality and Non-Competition Agreement. It is a boilerplate agreement. Boilerplate means it is the same agreement you can purchase from any stationary store or business supply house. It is legal in all 50 states and is yours to keep.

  2. If there is any part of the agreement you do not understand or have questions about, please e-mail us and we will explain it to you, or consult with an attorney but make sure to save the receipt for reimbursement.

  3. Please make special note of paragraph 3 which reads : "...including all logical future product lines evolved from the Clients products, and...

As far as we know, PTS is the ONLY company that offers Confidentiality and Non-Competition for evolved products....in other words we promise not to use your ideas in any way, shape, or form to produce competing or spin-off products.

  1. Your idea must be original. It can not infringe on any existing patents or trademarked items or established prior art.

  2. PTS is not obligated to accept every project that comes along; we accept only those product ideas that we feel will sell well and with a healthy profit margin.

  3. PTS performs all product, design, and manufacturing development under the same guidelines stated for our clients as outlined in the pages of this site. If you haven't read them, this would be the perfect time do so.

  4. PTS coordinates all marketing efforts. If we're going to foot the bill, we want to make sure it sells.

  5. PTS is paid 25% of the NET, not the gross, for a period of 5 years. This means that after all costs to get your product to market are paid, what is left over is profit and that is where we take our 25% from. If you don't make anything, we don't either. Do you think we're motivated?

  6. At the end of the five year period, PTS is open for renegotiation. You are not locked in. You may elect to take your product elsewhere at that time with our blessings, in fact, we'll even assist in the transition, but we do hope you'll want to stay with us.

That's it. We want to do something good for you for one reason only....no one ever helped us, no one ever cared about the little guy. We managed to survive it and we'd like to be the ones to finally offer some real help. Some of the best ideas in history came from people like us, and were immediately stolen away to make money for someone else. NO MORE.
