Turnkey Minus One

Turnkey : To produce material that is complete and ready for use.

In the Electronics Industry turnkey has come to mean more than it's basic dictionary definition. It also means that a company is capable of completing an entire project from beginning to end so that its' customers don't have to run to multiple vendors.

At Precision Tracking Systems, Turnkey means a truly integrated engineering environment. PTS has core member companies that work in concert with us on any given project. This core group is called the Associated Businesses Co-op (ABC). Special business relationships with these companies give us the strength of our combined resources without the overhead so often associated with giant organizations, yet we can out-produce these giants for a fraction of the cost.

By now you're probably wondering what the "Minus One" is in our Turnkey operation. It's the fabrication of the raw circuit board material itself. Because of the hazardous chemical processes involved in etching circuit boards and all the other sub-processes involved as well, PTS uses Board Houses (may or may not be with ABC) with proven methods of hazardous materials maintenance and control to fabricate the circuit boards we've designed.

We would be happy to make these Board Houses available to you should you so desire. If you do go to the board houses we suggest you will be dealing with them on your own and will get the price they normally offer to their clients. PTS enjoys a significant discount on work performed by these board houses due to ongoing volume over the years and we will be happy to pass the savings on to you if we are getting the design or assembly work out of it.
