Precision Tracking Systems offers Test capabilities at various levels.
One is that the customer provides a test procedure and if necessary, any custom test equipment required for that specific product. Procedures should include device parameters, pass/fail criteria, measurements required, and functional verification requirements. PTS will test each unit to the provided specifications and complete data sheets to be returned with the unit.
The second method is for those cases where PTS has not been involved in the design cycles and proprietary information has not been made available to us. Simple Pass / Fail tests can be performed provided the necessary information for this type of testing has been supplied to us.
The third method is of course for those products in which PTS designed the entire product. In this case, we will provide our test procedures to the customer for approval prior to implementing them. Again as before, data sheets will be filled out for each unit tested.
A word about Quality Assurance
From the very moment of inception, quality assurance is a part of each phase of development. Form, fit, and function are the industry buzz words that define QA.
Form is the final product. Aesthetics are a necessary consideration when marketing anything, so a product must look good to sell.
Fit is the package. Every part must integrate smoothly with every other part. When taken apart, the logical configuration of a products manufactured build must make sense. Nothing is kluged, each assembled item fits precisely to the sub-assembly it is part of.
Function is the operating features as defined by the products purpose and end user. All features must interact as defined without any fuss. No one likes to fight a product. It should run clean and easy without the need for special modification or operational "technique".
Quality Assurance as a final inspection routine verifies that all QA performed at each and every level of development has indeed occurred and that the product will pass all customer preferred requirements. Your product is ready to be shipped.

If for any reason you feel that your product did not turn out the way you wanted it, please tell us why and show us what changes you feel should be made. If PTS did not comply with all specifications and procedures previously authorized or if there is a question of quality, we will rework your product at our expense. However please be aware, if the requested changes were not originally specified, appropriate charges will apply.
