PTS Electronics has created special assembly procedures that ensure not only electrical integrity, but also the very aesthetics of the product as well. Great products, innovative designs, advanced manufacturing techniques, and unique packaging are all fine and good, but without proper assembly methods the best of products become throw away items that only serve to provide examples of shoddy workmanship. PTS strives at all times to achieve a level of workmanship once associated with fine American made products when pride of workmanship meant something.
We don't like repairs, so we build it right the first time. In practice, we'd prefer not to hear from our customers again except to order more product, so assembly skills and quality are paramount. For this reason, all our assemblers are Mil-Spec and NASA-Spec capable. We are pleased to have at least two special assemblers that have achieved Weapons Grade Spec, and are prized members of our Quality Assurance Program and Inspection Team.
Precision Tracking Systems has determined a method of standardizing assembly protocols regardless of the product under development. Production books are designed by our engineering department at the same time that the original design is created to streamline the assembly process while maintaining design to manufacture principals.Assembly Options
In keeping with our environmentally friendly processes, PTS uses no polluting chemicals or propellents; therefore, PTS uses nothing but CLEAN HOT WATER for aqueous cleaning of water soluble builds, and does no vapor degreasing.
All assemblies go through a 3-tiered inspection process. Inspection occurs at each assembly step, after initial assembly is completed, and during Test. Final Inspection which is a completely seperate issue (see Testing and QA) is done just before the product is packed for shipping.
