A message from the owner :
Hello. My name is Larry Weinberg. I'm the owner and senior design engineer of Precision Tracking Systems (PTS),
a progressive R&D electronics company nestled among the serene pines and mountains of beautiful southern
Oregon.
PTS started in 1988 as a small group of engineers trying to come up with better radio tracking devices, but has
blossomed into a full featured turnkey engineering company; servicing the electronics industries needs for quality design engineering right thru production generally at costs lower than they could do themselves.
Our diversified engineers are networked from around the country working from their own homes or offices. All of our assemblers are Mil-Spec and/or NASA-Spec certified; design cycles follow the KISS method, AND because of our telecommuting capabilities, our overhead is so low we can show a profit
charging less than the next guy (and that's with NO markups on parts and outside services). Our clients include companies
like Motorola, Nextel, Fiber Optic Lighting Inc., Eckstein Brothers Inc, ....the list goes on. Needless to say, it has worked well for
us.
Over the years, we've learned to build on our strengths with the idea being that our quality based services would have to be capable of paying for themselves with enough left over to move onto the next project, and sustain
us as well. It happened. Here we are 12 years later still going strong on our own merit, owing no one, working on our own terms.
We've had the good fortune of working on a wide variety of products and technologies, with an even
wider variety of design disciplines, which makes our knowledge base strong. Working with client engineers has been a
wonderful and learning experience as well. I sincerely hope that we can get together to discuss how we might be of help.
It never fails to amaze me how well our projects turn out. I guess its because everyone here truly enjoys what they do; and
when you enjoy what you do, you do it well. Let's smile.
